Data Formatting

Mandatory Fields

Ensure all required fields are completed. For multiple copies, Number of Copies and Starting Barcode are absolutely required. Bibliographic mandatory fields are Author, Title, Class Number, Item Type, Home Library, Current Library, and Call Number.

Empty Fields

Optional fields may be left blank. Empty subfields are intelligently ignored and will not be included in the generated MARC21 record to ensure compliance.
